I have an IRIQ and I'm trying to teach it commands from my sony projector remote (VPL-VW10HT). My problem is this: The learning process seems to work fine, meaning the IRIQ says the command is learned and if I use the command (standalone) it will work but if I put that command in a macro it won't. Has anyone had this problem? Are there issues with Sony and IRIQ?
It seems that if the command is in a macro it is not sent long enough but if I use the command standalone and press and hold (approx. 1 second) it works. I've tried to program my macro to repeatedly send the same command (trying to mimic a press and hold) but that does not work either.
Does anyone have any thoughts?

I had the same problem till I found this post from hwac:

That solved it for me, hope it works for you too.
