If anyone knows about how to overcome the macro limitation, i would be happy
Well !! Everything written in this forum is true ! The tc1000 is a nice concept, robust, learns a lot, good performance, more programable as the software looks like, WEAK dim backlight & contrast. I have searched a lot. Philips Pronto and Marantz was to expensive. So I landed with the TC1000. I could work around everything and have my home cinema almost under control, EXCEPT that the Macro Limitation stopped me close to this target. I wanted to create buttons for 48 Satelite Channels calling the associated macro (sends 2 digits). After a total of about 35 Macros with a average button press count of 2-3 in a macro the macro storage on the TC1000 is full. I can not create more Macros now = STOP of "taking control". ... Thinking to sell the remote and search a 2nd hand Marantz... but it is a pity everthing else would have been very fine finally for a good price and a brand new TC1000. And ! It was a lot of work for 3-4 evenings late into night.
