On my JVC Video it has a button with dual functions; i.e. if you hold the FF button down while in play mode it FF until you let go of the button; but if you hit the FF button once whilst in play mode it FF until you press play or stop.
Is this scenario possible with the TC or Pronto...?

You can check my detailed response in the Pronto forum, but yes: it'll work fine with any universal remote including the Take Control and Pronto.
