Are there no unviersal remote codes for the Direct TV brand D-10 sat reciever. If not, will there ever be any? I bougth a PHDVD5 Philips Universal remote that says it is "Guanteed to work" all of my components. No codes are available for the d10 reciever though. The remote will "learn" most all of the commands exept for the volume or power on and off. It will not "learn" those.

If you were to get an upgradeable remote from ofa, like the urc-8910. You can have SAT code 1377 loaded over the phone.
