Hi,

I've just seen an amazing preamp, but the really cool thing about it was that it uses a genuine all-aluminum remote. It is very heavy and only has 2 buttons.

I was wondering if there is such a remote control, with some more buttons. I don't really mind if it's universal or not, because I'm using an HTPC that can learn any remote.

Do you know anything like that?
I am not talking about Aluminum Finish but about an all-aluminum remote.
Tried to google but couldn't find anything like that.

Thanks !
Moti

Of course, but the problem is not WHERE to find, the problem is WHAT to find...
I have no idea if such a remote exists, and if yes - what model it is.

The one I just got from this guy (www.vsavs.com go to the sunwave page) , looks like it could be it. Honestly I'm not sure if it's genuine aluminum or not though.
Not sure if that's what you were thinking of or not, but thought I'd throw my two cents in!

Thanks Spody, but this does not look like real aluminum.

I got hooked on the subject after seeing this remote at a friend's house:

The picture isn't so good. This is all aluminum, quite heavy remote. Feels like $1000000 in your hand.

There are just 2 problems with it:
1. It only has 2 buttons :)
2. It comes with a $2K pre-amilifer :-O

The top half of the remote is made from a shiny "aluminesque" material that feels and sounds very much like metal – before realizing it was plastic I worried it might dent.
