My RC-70 Remote Control Unit is broken. What, if anything, will replace this remote? I have a 4-piece Kenwood setup and this remote controls everything. Is there a universal remote that would work? Please help. Thanks.

Here’s a source for replacement remotes. They don’t show a listing for the RC-70, but the RC-701 is only $17.95. If that doesn’t look right maybe you can find one that can.

You could also try a OneForAll 8810W at Walmart for the same price. Easy to return if it doesn’t work.

If you are still looking for an rc-70 remote control, I have one that I have no use for, I have never been able to use it as it does not work with the Kenwood Kt-87 tuner that I received it with. I have nothing to check it out with but appears to be ok. email is [email protected]
