Hi, I bought Philips Universal Consolidator PM435S remote because it would work every little thing I had on my entertainment system. It controls the TV seamlessly, and the VCR works great. The DVD Player doesnt work with this remote for some reason. I have tried every code for the Daewoo DVD, and even other "generic" brands. I still cant get this to work. The only other DVD Player it will control is the Sylvania in the other room. The DVD Player is a Daewoo DVD-5700. Can anyone point me to a good code or help me get it to work? Also, I have a Sony Wega TV and a Sony DVD/VCR Combo. I know it will control the TV, but how would I set this remote up for the DVD/VCR deck? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

If there's a code search function, try it. Otherwise, such are the problems with preprogrammed only remotes...

I have used the code search on it, and all it seems to kick on is my VCR over and over again. IF the remote says it works the Daewoos, why wont it work them?

I also have the Pm435s and finding that it doesnt even control anything on my dvd/vcr combo, there arent any codes for a Tevion. I lost the remote and went and go this one but thinking of taking it back. If i cant find a code for it.

I have the same problem but with an Apex DVD Player, I went through all the codes and the code search, nothing works. The TV and the VCR work fine though... Any Ideas?

There's a place but you need to call them , they can to answers you question but you need to call them 9/6pm 1800-526-7452 or 919-573-7854.... I lost the manual PM435S, can you help me in to get te codes for TV SANYO, and DVD SANYO? Eduardo |

TV SANYO..........0506,0311,0612,0002,0428,0802,0412,0619 and DVD SANYO.......0092,0243 Might as well help you while I still have the remote book etc. before I take it back tomorrow...ughhh frustration |

This is the second remote in as many days. I tried ALL the codes for my Sylvania TV listed as well as doing the brand search, and thecode search pressing the channel button 500 times each not just 300 and yes I counted!
I am so frustrated with remotes I will just CONTINUE to get up and change the channel
I am not stupid and can read directions but obviously it isn't going to work with my TVSo this PM435S will go back tomorrow TOO!
