Is there a remote out there where the remote can get easily programmed to operate all of my theatre pieces via a software program that is loaded on my PC. I thought I heard of a click and drag program and then it was loaded into the remote. Any thoughts? Thanks

There are many computer programmable remotes.
Most OFA (one for All) remotes are computer programmable by a process known as JP1
Some remotes like the Harmony lineup can only be programmed using a computer connected to the internet.
Others like Pronto and Home Theatre Master remotes have dedicated (stand-alone) software to program some of their remotes.
It might help us here to know a little more about what you're looking for in a remote.
