I use my Kenwwod receiver remote for everything. It works on everything, but the receiver it came with. This is a recent problem...the receiver will only respond to the remote about 20% of the time. Tried anouther remote and nothing. i think its the sensor on the reciever. Can this be fixed or does anyone have any ideas? thank you for your responce.

First, make sure something isn't flooding the room with IR - new TV, lamp, etc. That could cause signals to be received erratically, especially if the receiver's IR eye is sensitive.
If it is the sensor, yes, it should be replacable, however how hard it would be depends on how your receiver was constructed.
