I am looking for the cheapest replacement I can get that will do all the functions (or at least the most important) for the sony sat-t60 directivo, including the tivo/list/menu, etc buttons. Of course they don't have to be labled like that, I just need to have them somewhere.

Basically I just need something to program my MX-500 with, so it does not need to be anything spiffy (although it would be nice if it was an one-for-all that had some descrete codes I could use in it). I do not think the MX-500 has the codes for it, and I do not have an original sat-t60 remote.

I had thought about buying a sat-t60 remote on ebay or somewhere, but I thought there might be a cheaper/easier way.

Is there such a thing?

What you need is a One-For-All/ Radio Shack remote, they're the only remotes that have the PVR functions of th T60 preprogrammed. I suggest the OFA URC-6131. Cost about $13 on-line or under $20 in stores. what commands that aren't prest can be added using these advanced codes. There's also th radio shack 15-2103 for $10 if you can find them in stock.

To any botton but SET and the device keys, yes. to map the advanced codes(EFC):

1. press the device(PVR)
2. press and hold SET for two blinks
3. enter 9-9-4
4. tap SET for one blink
5. enter the advanced code
6. pick a key
