Has anyone looked at the Tapwave Zodiac for use as a universal remote?
3.8" color touchscreen, multi axis joystick, $300.
The only complication is that it is bluetooth, so the signals would have to go to a PC or other device to convert bluetooth to IR.
Existing Palm remote control software should work, though it would be best with custom code to use the landscape screen and bluetooth.
Sounds pretty doable though, especially if you already have an HTPC, and its less than half the cost of the color Pronto...
