I have recently purchased an ir800 and am having problems getting it work properly with my receiver.
The codes supplied with the remote seem at first to work as the receiver is powered off during the auto search and I can use the functions like Volume and Device selection etc. The problem seems to be getting it to power back on. There are two buttons on the Yamaha remote - StandBy and Power. I have tried to "learn" these with the ir800 but still have no success - does anybody have any thoughts??
