Hi,
I am somewhat overwhelmed by the large number of possibilities for remote control of my video equipment. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could suggest a good way for me to proceed:

problem 1:
I have a Panasonic television, a Panasonic VCR player, and a Panasonic DVD player. I can control the television and VCR player with a single remote controller that (I think) was the controller that was shipped with my TV. However, the controller that shipped with my DVD player doesn't control the TV. Thus, what should I get so that I can control my TV, my VCR player, and my DVD player with a single remote?

Problem 2:
My hand dexterity is significantly impaired. The buttons on my VCR/TV controller are large enough that I can (barely) use them. However, some of the buttons on my DVD controller are tiny. Are there universal remote controllers that have unusually large buttons?

regards,
Joe

P.S. a price < $100 would be nice.

I would look at a used (refurbished) Pronto. It is a touch screen remote and you can make the buttons any size you want.

It doesn't sound like you need something very complex. There are a large variety of inexpensive remotes out there that can do the job. Spend some time looking. Touch screen remotes aren't for everyone.

Sony has a line of remotes that might fit your bill. The Sony RM-V202 pictured on the left is one option.

Check out the review of these remotes here.
