i have an rca remote model rcu100.it controls 5 devices
and says system link on front,but no code search light.
can someone help me program it to operate my sony vcr
and my gemini cable box? thanks Carl S

Try holding the device key, TV, CABLE, while entering the code. try VCR-099, CABLE-018.

edmund..no response yet,but I'll try all the numbers
around those codes. I held down vcr and put in 099..
should that do it? I mean is there another step like
set up or enter? anyway, thank you

No, all other RCA remotes without a code search key, all you need is to hold the device key when entering the codes. Problem is almost every other RCA remote uses a different code list. Try the lists here.
