I need programming instructions for a RCA universal remote CRK67A1. I have not been able to locate this remote anywhere including RCA and Proscan. The closest thing I've found to it is A CRK76 series or a Proscan. But the instructions for it speak of using a code search button. This one does not have a code search button. Nor does it have a set up button, go figure. I have no idea how to program it. I received it with a RCA Pro Logic Receiver purchased on Ebay. Thanks if anyone can help.

What is the EXACT model number of your receiver? Do you know if this was the original equipment remote or a universal remote?

The exact model number of the receiver is RV9968A. But I am unsure if this is the original remote. Below is a link to a picture of the exact remote.

To program that remote, you hold down the device key, then enter the code. What code list it takes? That I don't know, try the codes found here: [Link: xdiv.com]

I think you are in luck, my friend. By dumb luck I found the manual for the RV3693, which is one of the receivers shown that use your remote. The picture in the manual is the same as the remote in the picture you referenced.

The RCA site is THE WORST I have ever seen, and I do a lot of looking. I knew the RV3693 was one of the receivers that used your remote so I looked for the manual and somehow found it, but I can't find it again and can't find the one for your receiver, but this should work. It has all the instructions and codes in it.

I saved the pdf, and don't know any other way so I am sending it to you be email. Hope it helps.

edmund-you were right about the programming procedure (as usual).

At one time I had 4 components with similar remotes, TV, VCR, and two SAT receivers. Even though the remotes were alike, three of them took different code lists. I hate RCA!!

Of course you have an RCA remote. Not sure about the tv being a sanyo tho.

makes sense, first post in a BDT, then hijack a thread purely because it's about an RCA remote. Say, you related to Daisy Duke? Bo lost "General Lee" to me in a card game; Luke sez I might be able to swap even across for Daisy which I'd Rather have. Maybe another hand both the car and Daisy or nothing?

Is this your remote...

If so, you're in luck, because that sure looks like the One For All "Access 3". I can't find a picture of the "Access 3" but here's a picture of the "Access 4"...

And here's a link to the manual for it...

The listed codes for Sanyo TVs are: 0154 and 0159

Well I recently bought the RCU1010 and I am now taking it back. I really like the touch interface, but it won't learn over 50% of my remotes. Some crucial functions I needed it to learn are only sending a single burst signal, so holding down the button does nothing. The RCU1010 can't learn these single bursts. There is another strange symptom, when attempting to learn, even by sending a single burst I would get a "Learning error" immediately after pressing the button. This tells me that something about the signal was imcompatible with the RCA's learning feature, so I am hosed. Can anyone suggest a better remote with a nice touch screen interface and I would rather not pay $200 for it. ;)

Well, there isn't any audio codes in that SAT remote, you can control a TV, VCR, and the SAT. There is a ALT device key, but that's for a second Tv, VCR ,or SAT. Splurge buy a decent universal remote.

I was wondering if the Alt would work for an audio device or just what you said it was for...Thanks for clearing that up for me....I'll look for a Universal
