I'm looking for a remote to work with an sir T165 STB.
Most of the universals I've looked at do not list STB.
Does anyone know if the TV codes will work for an STB or do they have there own?

The One For All code for a Samsung SIRT165 HDTV receiver is VIDACC/1190. This code can be found in the One For All URC_9960 and the Radio Shack 15-2116/7

I have a One For All remote model URC-4021. I am trying to get it work with a Samsung SIR-T165 OTA Digital Receiver. However, every time I enter the code 1190 into the remote it will never accept it. The remote is brand new. Does anyone know if this remote will work with the SIR-T165? All help and suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

The Samsung code is 1109, not 1190. Maybe that is the problem.

1109 is a SAT code, the correct code for the SIR-T165 HDTV receiver is VIDACC/1190. I don't have a manual for the URC-4021 yet, so I don't know if this code is included, my guess is that it's not. That's one of the drawbacks of getting the cheap remotes is that they have less codes and less features.

I used code 1276 and it worked!!! Not sure if all functions are there yet but it will power up/power off and change channels. Thanks to your website I was successful - the URC-4021 manual did not have this code or the 1190 code listed (that I could find.)

VIDACC/1276 sends the same signal as VIDACC/1190 and most of the buttons use the same codes.

Does this remote support keymover (ie, the 994 function)? If it does, and you find some buttons don't work properly, I can get you the advanced codes to fix them.
