Code for an old remote

Have a "Control 1" remote model 8254 and need a code for a Sony TV.

Called the customer service number on the back of the remote and it is now a phone sex line.

I think "Control 1" is what is now known as "One For All", so you could try OFA codes. If your remote has numeric buttons, you could try TV/000 or TV/0000, if it only has VOL+ and CH+ buttons, you could try one of these: 11111, 11244, 11331 (CH + = 1, CH - =2, VOL + = 3, VOL - = 4,)
