I want to get a universal programable remote for my parents however they have a Pace cable box which used IRDA.

I understand that some oneforall remotes support IRDA but need to be sent away for the modification?

All I wish to do is have a remote which is preprogrammed or can learn the Pace codes. Then I will reprogram the volume keys to work with the Samsung 28" widescreen they have.
They also have my old Samsung DVD player so it will need to control that aswell.
Therefore I only need support for 4 devices and learning ability.

I tried doing a search but the search page was just blank when finished.

Any suggestions?

I assume you are bsed in Europe somewhere, probably the UK, in which case most OFA remotes sold there have a built in code for the Pace box. If you get a telephone-upgradeable remote you can get the code added even if it isn't pre-installed.

You won't be able to learn the Pace signals with any learning remote though, so you do need a built in code.
