Can anyone reccomend a simple remote for my mom? She has a TV, VCR, and soon a DVD. I gave here a real simple one but she gets confused about what it is operating. Are there any remotes with a switch to go from the TV to the VCR so she would know which device she was operating.

Thanks

I don't know about finding a remote with a switch, but I do know that for $30 at Radio Shack you can get a remote with an LCD display that always tells you what device the remote is currently operating. Model # is 15-2116. The size of the LCD text is probbably much larger than that associated with any remote switch, and so might be more readable. Also has a backlight for easier night use. Hope this helps.

how much are you willing to spend.

I think a Pronto, Harmony or MX-500 will be able to simplify your moms setup. But these are not cheap remotes.
