There isn't a code that'll work with Dav-c990. Sony is using a new code set in their receivers and systems. So new not even their top of the line Av-3000 has the code. On receivers they can be changed to the old code, but system can not. The only thing you can do is get a learning remote.

I've seen the signals used for these new DAV devices and they are a mix of all three Sony protocols, so it's really difficult for a universal to handle them all. We have a protocol for this in the JP1 group, but a learning remote is probably the easiest solution. If you like Sony remotes, they make several remotes with tons of learning memory, like the VL700 and the VL900.
