Hi, I just set-up a new Home Theater System with a new Panasonic 40" LCD HDTV Monitor. I bought a Yamaha RX-1300 Receiver. I also have a VCR, DVD Player, Sony Satellite Receiver. The Sony Satellite Receiver can be set for RF or IR...not both at the same time. I need to keep it on RF, as I have a RF Remote in another room for Satellite. What remote would best be suited for this application? Are there remotes that have IR and RF built in so I can utilize 1 remote for all devices? Please advise...Thanks, Craig...

No, there are no remotes that'll generate or capture RF signals from RF oem equiped component.

Ditto what Edmund said. If you want 1 remote to control all your devices you're going to have to change the satellite to IR, then replace the RF remote in the other room. Most easily, you can buy an IR/RF remote which will send an RF signal that's recognized by its base station and converted to an IR signal that will control your sat. nrg

I have an 'One For All" remote. I require instructions and codes to activate a Zenith 19" TV.
Thanks

The code for a Zenith tv is 0017, there are all kinds of ofa remotes with different methods of code entry. What's your model # on the remote. Next time start your own thread.
