I have a Mitsubishi DirecTV receiver model SR-SD1. Yesterday, I bought a Denon 1803 surround sound receiver to upgrade my overall system. The problem is that the Mitsubishi remote control for the satellite refuses to recognize the Denon 1803. Codes listed for Denon in my Mitsubishi manual don't work and neither does scanning. I would like to buy a new remote that will operate my Mitsubishi satellite receiver and at least turn on the Denon 1803 and allow volume control to the Denon 1803. Suggestions? Thanks! Art Goddard

Art,
almost any ofa or RS "advance" model remote should handle both these and any other components you might have. I'd suggest the OFA 8811 (WW 8810w), or RS 15-2116 as 2 prime models.

Jim: Thanks! I bought the RS 2116 at lunch today and will try it out after work. As you said, it looks like the answer to my problem. Again, thank you for your advice! Art G.
