I would like to get a universal remote to run my RCA TV & VCR and a BOSE 1-2-3 System. Does anyone have a recomendation? I like the Sony RM-VL700, but, I'm not sure it can learn the BOSE codes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TVOR, Many universal remotes will work both of the rca devices, however, The bose is another question. If the bose is an RF vs IR system, then NO universal learner or remote will operate it. Therefore, if the bose is RF, then you'll be out of luck. Is it RF? Jim

don't know about the 1-2-3 but most of Bose's stuff are RF, and that means that it cannot be controlled with a universal remote

The Bose 1-2-3 system is fairly new and contains an IR remote controller. Their documentation claims that most universal remotes will work on it.
