I'm a student who is doing marketing research for Marantz. That's why I like to know: What you expected of the remote control when you bought it and if the Marants remote controls could live up to your expectations. Please also tell me which of the marantz models you bought.

Pieter, you should be posting this in the Pronto and NEO forums. Most of the people that own those remotes hang out in those two forums

I have the 9200. It's additional hard buttons give it much more potential than the ProntoPro, BUT it is stupid for Marantz to only include codes for its own A/V equipment, while Pronto provides built-in codes for hundreds. Marantz should relaize that it has a terrific piece of universal remote control hardware to sell, and understand that consumers have sytems made up of various manufacturers' components.
