Most One For All and Radio Shack remotes will suit your needs. Rob http://www.hifi-remote.comThanks for the quick reply Rob. I have come across two remotes in my area which may fit the bill. But I am unsure as to which one is better. They are the One For All URC-8910 and the Radio Shack 15-2104 Which do you think would be better! Thanks Evil Penguin

Hold out and try to latch on to a RS 15-2116; better than both the 8910 or 2104. That RS you saw the 2104 in might be able to get the 2116 for you. 30.00 US, about 60 cdn Should be about the same money as the other 2 and a much nicer remote. :) Jim

I tried contacting Radio Shack directly and they will not ship to CANADA! This really pissing me off because everything I want to get seems to be eluding me! Evil Penguin

Evil,
Hmmmmmm, maybe you got a friend in the states that would send it to you? Close enough to detroit or Buffalo to take a little trip across the border? BTW, Radio Shack has been numbering Canadian models slightly different, same with OFA. Maybe try tracking it down with a slightly different model #? I think some canadian guys have managed to find them, maybe one of them would be nice and send you one, or at least put you in contact with someone that would, perhaps an individual store? Jim

That would be nice I have someone who is going to the detroit auto show, so that may work. Anyways thanks for everyone's help. The one remote I can seem to find in stores around here is the 15-2104. But I like the look of the 15-2116 better!
Thanks

If it's between the 15-2104 and the URC-8910, I'd go with the URC-8910, but if you can find the URC-8910 you can probably find the URC-8811, which should be cheaper. It lacks the LCD screen that the 8910 has, but it has better arrow buttons than the 8910.

Hey all I was into RS and they only have the 15-2104, and as far as the One For All they have the urc-8780. Which would you get the 15-2104, URC-8910, URC-8780? Let me know guys!

Evil,
I don't recognize the URC8780; must be a canadian designation. Would you know it's US model # correspondence? Jim

Jim, the 8780 was smaller version of the P8, it had learning, but only to 4 keys per device. It was sold here in the U.S.

Evil,
If the choices are the three you listed, I'd have to agree with Rob and choose the 8910. The P-8's are 740 chip based, the 2104 has some serious issues, and while the 8910 has issues with the donut arrow keys, it's probably the lesser of the evils between the three. I'd still hold out and try to get a 2116 or 8811 if I were you; unless you were in a super hurry and just couldn't hold out, then the 8910 (begrudgingly). Jim
