Hi all,
I recently bought the new RS-2116 remote controller
to control my HT system, but have got stuck in between.

Here are the reasons why:

1. None of the codes work for my HK AVR 320 Receiver system. I manually cycled thru all the codes in the RCVR, LDP, DAT, CD, DVD, TV, PHONO options hoping that atleast one would match - none did.

2. It looks like I cannot assign a 'macro' to the Power key -> therefore, I could use the learning mode effectively (mapping the HK power key to some non power key of 2116 works but thats silly - its not intuitive)

3. In my house , all my units -> ie DVD, VCR, SAT, TV are connected via my HK AVR 320. Therefore, when I press say, the 'DVD' button on my HK remote, not only does it switch to DVD control mode, it also switches the correct input and output lines for that device on my receiver.
Now, if I am to be able to do the same thing in the 2116, I need to be able to:
a) Assign a macro to my AUDIO/DVD/VCR/etc..

Posted before I completed the mail.

b) Be able to somehow tell RS-2116 that when I press DVD, not only do you need to select DVD but also switch the correct input/output lines in the receiver.
How do i do this ? I cannot even seem to program a macro on these keys.

If I cannot get it to atlteast talk to my HK, I have no choice but to return it -> I kinda liked the remote. I even went to the hifi remote .com site but did not find an answer in the codes.
