I have an Admiral GOJ 12370 the remote is dead I thought it was the batteries but I change then with a remote from my bed room and they work in my other remote so there has to be a problem with the Admiral remote. Is there a universal or learing remote that has an AUX/TV button? This is what I need I can turn on and off the tv with my cable remote but can't get to AUX 1 and 2 channels so I can watch my DVD player. The TV was made in June of 2000 so I don't see why someone don't have remotes some where I can buy for this set. I checked with Radio Shack and it is like this TV was never made but it is siting in my apartment.

What you need is a Radio shack universal remote # 15-2103. The code won't be under Admiral, but under Emerson. The code is 0463. On these remotes they accept whats called advanced codes, these are codes for individual functions(023-mute,234-power). The code for input is 375. I know this because I went through this before in this link; [Link: remotecentral.com]

Thank you very much. You have no trouble switching Aux channels?

I just got a GRD15172 from the trash and cannot change input...If anyone has a clue what remote or codes I would use please advise. I have a RCA D770 universal remote and the emerson or admiral code have failed me in-so-far. Please help...the TV is in my kids room and she cannot play her playstation w/o it! I know this sounds trivial, but if you will remember being 15, you will understand the gravity of the situation! Thanks in advance R

Try the codes under Wards, as in Montgomery Ward.
