Hi,

I have recently purchased a new Home Theater from RCA, the 2350 HTB. It comes with an RCA CRK76 based universal remote. The manual in the box, as well as it's web PDF version, do not contain codes for eith my Panasonic RV21/31/32 DVD player nor my Bell Expressvu/ECHOSTAR DBS Satellite receiver.

I have searched RCA's website as well as Google/Groups for info for these 4 digit codes. Assuming that the sat codes are in the 5000 range, I have tried entering from 5000-5100 with no luck. In fact, when trying to enter codes above 5080, the led on the remote just flashes instead of staying on like with the other codes.

If anyone has this remote and codes for a panasonic DVD, besides the one that I found on the RCA website that did not work, or codes for Bell Expressvu 2700 receiver/Echostar DBS 2700 receiver, it would be appreciated.

Thanks

-SS

Some rca oem remotes only control rca brand dvd players. I have two different rca oem that take 4 digit codes in the 5xxx range, and neither has a code for Dish network receivers.

SS, and EDmund,

RCA has made DTV sat receivers for some time now. Just how much support do you think those boys would give for a competitor's receiver? Since RCA also puts out some dvd players, I think I'd expect the same or very similar non-support. And if, by chance it had any support at all, it's be so bare-bones that you'd probably need the oem other brand handy anyway just to get into of navigate the menue functions. I guess that's called protecting your own interests.
