I have an RCA RCU810 remote and set the TV, VCR, DVD, and cable box, but can't seem to get a couple of things working properly.

1) The INPUT button does nothing. The INPUT button on the tv remote switches over to Video 00 to play the DVD, but does not work on the RCU810. I've tried the IR learn using the RCU810 and TV remove and it
shows SUCCESS, but still does nothing.

2) When the cable box is selected on the RCU810 the volume controls operate the television's volume and not the cable box volume. I would like it to control
the cable box volume.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I would erase the input button, then try learn it again. Do you know you only have enough memory for about 25 learned commands, for the whole remote? As for the cable volume, teach it from the original remote.
