Hi,
I just bought a digital cable terminal that came with a Millenium 4 universal remote. I can't get the remote to control my Kenwood RXD-G3 stereo receiver. The provided Kenwood codes don't work, and searching for the code doesn't seem to work, even after I 'clear' the Audio device button with the provided procedure. Can anyone help?
On a related note, the remote also seems preprogrammed with an 'All On/Off' power sequence. When I turn the cable box on or off, my TV also does the same. I've found instructions on how to activate this feature, but does anyone know how to deactivate it?
Thanks in advance, Chris

On most Universal Electronics remotes, the way you remove a macro is to simply follow the activation programming sequence but enter a null macro.
So, for example, if your instructions tell you to press [setup], 9-9-5, the keys you want, then [setup] again; try [setup],9-9-5,[setup]with nothing in between the "995" and the second [setup]. ( [..]in the above means press and hold until the LED blinks)

Thanks Alfaman. I actually was able to reset the remote with a 9-8-0 sequence, and that fixed the All On/Off problem. Now I just need to get it working with my Kenwood receiver. Please help me!! :-)
