How can I reliably teach a learning remote to accept a code from a keyboard combination (control + "Key") from a wireless keyboard.

Pete, 1st and most important is that the keyboard operates with IR, and not RF. It'll be hard to get most any remote to hold and display or work all the keys on a keyboard; but it's possible that a good few could be. Jim

Jim: I know a few people that have it on their Prontos :-)
Pete: on most keyboards the CTRL key does not send a code, all it does is make the other key send a different code. Try learning normally, but start by pressing the CTRL key before you start pressing the other key

Thanks guys.
I seem to have it working now. Pressing the combination of keys in rapid succession seems to work pretty effectively. All I wanted to program was the TheaterTek DVD player functionality to my TheaterMaster 9000 for my HTPC.
