I looked at a panny "universal" 6(?) device remote that came with a panny sat receiver. I checked it's code library, and it really supported very few "outside" devices. That "advanced" model didn't support any Mits TV, so offhand I doubt your likely less advanced version remote will either. Your manual should explain how to use the remote for other devices. Good Luck.

Geronimo,

In this forum there is a thread: "James:...." Go through the messages. James posted a link to a pdf for the manual for his panny sat receiver. This sucker is 101 pages so it's a long download, Somewhere around page 42, or so, they described the remote, how to use it, etc. The next section contained setup codes for different devices, check there. I'm not gonna, I did that once already to help James out and it's much too long a process to go thru again, considering I don't have a panny remote or receiver; but it would be more worthwhile for you to go through all that.
Jim

Thank You Jim I will try that. However since you said that remote does not support Mitsubisahi TVs I strongly suspect that this remote is different.

I appreciate you trying to help though.

Geronimo,

The guy at I looked at the manual for didn't have the panny remote. His intitial thread was whether he could get his mits remote to work his panny sat receiver, and apparantly it couldn't. I just looked at the remote info in the manny to see what all functions the panny remote would work to see if a ueic and it's device setup codes would work for him. Just being curious about how much support they had for "outside" devices, I briefly glanced at the device setup codes. I recall looking for Mit's undet TV's, just to see if HAD he had the panny would it have worked his mits tv, and didn't see any mits codes. However, I wasn't that strongly curious and may have missed it. The codes were set up like folded sheets so it took a lot of shifting over right and left, and also up and down to read the sheets, and very well could have missed a portion. So, just because I may have missed it, don't take that as gospel that it wasn't there. If it was me with the mits, I think I'd do my own more concentrated search to see if they have any mits tv codes. Be advised tho that the pages with the codes are very difficult to navigate, much more so than actually having the page printed. You mite want to just go ahead and print the pages with the setup codes, make it easier on yourself in looking them over, and be able to keep it for later if you need the code list again. At least, that's what I would have done if I had a Panny universal remote, and no manual.
Jim
