I need 2 things (hopefully both in the same package).
1. I have been searching for a tiny keychain or pocket sized remote that is programmable. I need it to learn between 4-6 commonly used (volume up/down, skip for the CD player, and pause/play for the DVD) codes from my gear, and the X-10 keychain remote I have can only "learn" 2. Any suggestions?
2. I own a Denon RC-8000 touchscreen IR/RF programmable remote (came with the receiver) that I am currently programming. Unfortunately, it will not allow you to copy buttons from one device to another. I need a very very cheap learning remote that I can temporarily store these codes in, then copy them back to custom buttons on the Denon. I've done some searching, but am looking for the cheapest thing I can find.
Thanks!

Jet,
I have seen a "wristwatch" style remote that had quite a few buttons. Exactly how it works I don't know. If I recall correctly, I saw it at Radio shack or ebay, I'm not quite sure. It's the only thing I know of that's even close to maybe what you're looking for. The only keychain type remotes I've seen are remote car starters, or alarm workers. Whether they can be programmed to work general IR devices or not you'd have to check out on your own. Jim

Thanks. So far I think I've spent 5 hours surfing around for this. Radio Shack used to make a couple of tiny remotes, but they were pre-loaded with "code-sets", and not learning capable.
Since all I need to do to get the codes into the Denon is get a learned 'copy' of them, I think I will borrow a friends remote to get the codes into my computer.
The search for the tiny remote goes on...
