I got my Cinema 7 to do everything I need it to on my RCA home theater system except shut off. It turns it on and did most of the functions with one of the default codes and learned several others from the original remote. But it wont shut the unit off. I even tried to "learn" it off the original but no go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have the standard RCA remote that comes with most of their systems (long, hour-glass shaped black baby), you should be able to use the big ON/OFF button in the middle of the top to teach your Cinema 7. I have the RCA remote, the copycat RCA RCU800 learner remote, the Cinema 7 and a bunch of other remotes, including the MX-500 and 1000, and they all learned the OFF command from my RCA TV remote. ...
