I lost my dishplayer 7100 JVC remote. I hear 1005 will work. Which remote out there knows 1005? Please help. I have a Best BUy Circuit City and Compusa here as well as Radio Shack and JC Penny and Sears. What remote will take the code and which is cheapest? What do I do here? I need all the help I can get. Why dont you call dish network 1-800-333-dish and order a new remote

I think you're hosed, The dish player uses a different set of commands than the standard Dish Network, And I'm pretty sure that it's in a different frequency range.

He's got a duplicate thread in the OneForAll forum. The RCA RCU-810 with code 1022 did the trick.

WARNING!!!! DO NOT BUY THE RCU-810 AS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE DISHPLAYER 7100 REMOTE!!!
Based on the comments here, I went out and bought it, code 1022 works for turning the sat on/off but not much else, no menus, no recording, no pause, no listings, it's WORTHLESS!!!

I have an RCU810 and it works fine with the Dishplayer 7100 with code 1022. If you use the learning feature a LOT. I had to program all the advanced buttons.
