There are no discrete input selects for Toshiba TV's. In macros I use TV-0-3-TV/VCR to get to Input 1 and TV-0-3-TV/VCR-TV/VCR to get to Input 2. Others use CH.UP instead of the 0-3, but I like my TV to stay on Channel 3.

Thanks a lot Glen. I don't hav a tv/vcr button on the RCA remote though. I have a who-input button which apparently is to select user profiles. Any other suggestions. I have eight remotes (three of them universal) and don't want to buy another (with a learning function).

Whew, I use my 15-1994 so much I can't remember which button on my RCA DirecTV remote controls that function for my Toshiba tv. Since I'm not home where I can look at it, I *think* it's labeled INPUT. This button just toggles through the various options on the Toshiba -- tv, video 1, video 2, svhs, then back to tv, etc.

Makai....Thanks for your response. You've described exactly what I'm looking for. I do have an input button (who-input)on my RCA directv remote but when I press it it toggles between different user profiles (family 1, family 2, etc.) I need to know how to toggle between tv, video 1, video 2 on a Toshiba tv. Please anyone out there help me!

I don't mean to be insulting here, but you ARE pressing the TV button on the remote to put it into TV-control mode first, before trying to change the TV input setting aren't you? Sounds like you're leaving the remote in SAT mode and changing the DirecTV user profiles. This is no different than the channel up/down buttons controlling either the satellite or tv tuner, depending on what mode the remote is in at the time. Or am I misinterpreting something?
