This remote comes with the Sony STR-DE945 receiver and
is capable of learning all functions I've tried so far including programming keys with different functions under the same function setting, so I'm able to turn on
the receiver, TV and cable box all under the USER1 setting by just programming an additional power function for the cable box as the pause key...
Anyway, the only problem I have with this remote is the fact that when you try to change channels on the Zenith
cable box the initial change each time changes the channel twice at a time I guess when it establishes two
way functionality... The only way to prevent this is to hit another key first to have the remote start-up then you can change channels as long as you do it without pausing for more than a few seconds, otherwise it's the same issue again...
Anyone else have a similar problem or know a solution??
