i am having a problem with icons-- i create but when i download to remote they don't show up, just as a grey square -- does the same when i run emulator.. any help would be appreciated

You should post in the Pronto forum, you will get more answers.
You should also read the FAQ, the answer is there.
But the answer is: it will not show a button until it has an action (IR, alias or delay). (Who wants a lot of useless buttons, that do nothing?)
