I have a Hitachi TV (20SA2B-GJ II Genius Jr II CLU-681GJ) with a broken remote. I've tried several universal remotes but none of them lets me control anything but the sound and channel. I need full functionality (color, brightness, channel set-up etc.) Is there a universal remote that offers all functions for this model? Thanks.

I have a remote Hitachi and VCR by the same name but TV is a Mitsubishi. What do I do to operate both TV and VCR without using both VCR and TV remotes. I want to use just one. I have bought different remotes and tried the codes and nothing worked. Can you please help me as to what to do next? Thanks. Edna
