I have an 8 year old Panasonic 27" TV in perfect working order. The original remote broke long ago. The remote that came with my Panasonic VCR was able to operate the TV as well, for many years. But then it stopped working on the TV and now only operates the VCR. We've been through several universal remotes (all for one, Zenith, RCA, etc.), and all have worked for months, even years on the TV, but then suddenly stopped. These remotes continue to work perfectly well on all other TV's!!!!!
My local tv repairman says to keep trying new remotes and I'll probably hit one that works. Doesn't make sense to me.
Any ideas?????
