I just got a VCRPlus+ remote at a rummage sale, and it turns out that there are no docs in the box. So this thing is waiting for me to tell it what VCR and Cable Box it's supposed to be talking to, and I don't have the codes! I sure could use a scan if the docs, if anyone out there saved them.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've been there and I can't find anything on the site except current products. The email link gives a
HTTP Error 405
405 Method Not Allowed
when you hit send, so I don't know if they're getting my pleas for help or not. Am I overlooking something there? I'd be happy to pay for copying and postage if someone out there has what I need.

Here is url to the FAQ at Gemstar that might help. I got my VCR Plus+ box at a garage sale and have misplaced the manual. My VCR Plus+ box looks very much like the Video Plus box pictured here. If I find my manual I will let you know. In the mean time, the faq link will take you to the Video+ description of the "00" method for finding a VCR code. Try it - except note that when you get a code that works, it will switch on and to channel 9 (not 3) [Link: gemstar.co.uk]
