I did search, and have had no luck finding a universal remote or a remote code for an aiwa f2400 tv.

I currently have a zen700 and a oneforall cinema7; neither like the tv and it seems the cinema7 isn't going to support the philips dvd711 either.

any help in finding what universal remote would go with these machines or the remote code for the aiwa tv would be GREATLY appreciated.

thanks

From what I understand Aiwa uses a different IR code and right now there is no universal pre-programmed remote that will work. My solution was to purchase a learning remote and then program it using the original Aiwa remote. Good Luck.

I just purchased an Aiwa F2400 television (great picture & features for the price!) and I have the
same problem. I'm reluctant to purchase even one
of the new handy-dandy learning remotes (such as
the Home Theater Master SL-9000 or the Sony touch-screen unit) unless I can be sure it can be
programmed to operate the Aiwa TV.

Have you had any luck solving this problem?

Well, unless there's some weird IR requirement for this TV, the remotes with learning capability can handle it. HTM's, Sony's top 3, Pronto, others all have lots of learning capacity.

Remotes like the RS 15-1994 have limited learning, so finding a code would be preferable.
