Does Anyone know what happened to "www.hifi-remote.com"
The site has not been working for over a month now  and I have sent several messages to @The_Robman here and though his email and PM on this site.

I hope he is Okay and that the site returns as I miss it!

Thank You

As I understand it, Rob installed a forum using the forum software phpBB. He then implemented some modifications, using php. Due to newer, incompatible versions of php and phpBB, the forum broke. Now Rob is striving to get the forum online again.

However, all is not lost:

1. A GitHub organization hifiremote has been created. All files from the file section are available in the repositories, in particular the deviceupgrades. (Possibly a few files, uploaded between February and June, are missing.) There are also discussion areas, e.g. this. Anyone with a Github account can participate in discussings, write issues and upload through pull-requests.

2. The wiki is available here. Further contributions are welcome; just drop me a line for write access.

3. The source code (in particular Remotemaster/RMIR) is kept on Sourceforge, where also program distributions are found. New versions will be published here (or not?).

4. There is a archived version of the forum from 2025-06-08. It is not very complete ;-(.

Other suggestions are welcome.

Yeah, went through similar issues here getting this all working again in a fully modern environment. Considering the forum software has been in development since like 1999… so much broke, even with Apache.
