HI. I bought the above TV in January and my original remote that controls everything on the TV got damaged. Not under warranty because of the damage. I bought a new remote from Electronic Adventures but it doesn't work. I'm at a loss. What do I need to do? Do I need a code? There are no buttons on the TV itself and to turn it on, off, volume. HELP PLEASE.

It uses a very old code set that's been around for 30 years, many brands over the years have used it, give the codes under Emerson, Dynex, Broksonic, or even Sansui a try.

Different brands of roku TV's use to use different IR codes then each other, but supposedly they have gotten firmware update so they respond to all previous roku tv brands codes, so try code under Goldstar/LG, Hisense, and Rca.
