Hi,
my glorious SBC RU980 yesterday started to show irresponsive hard buttons and frozen screen to one page: after a battery full charge and reset, the remote booted but it only worked with the first touch key and then back to frozen screen and no other action possible.
This morning I have tried to download once again the actual pcf and this proccess has apparently been completed although quite too fast IMHO.
Now the remote keeps rebooting after showing the PhilipsPro splashscreen; I have been trying for several times to intercept the low level bootloader to reset the firmware but with no luck (USB won't connect).
Prior to selling it on eBay like spare parts, anything I can try more?

If you can somehow re-flash the firmware, you might be in luck. It's been a long time since I had an NG remote to play with so I'm going from memory.
