Got a new unopened TSU7500 just for the heck of it.
Are these the last updates?

Please have a look at the firmware updates in the files section. [Link: files.remotecentral.com]3.9.9 is the latest. You are running 3.8.16.

Hoping you got a CD with the remote as that has the Windows driver you will need to download configs to the remote. Not sure the driver is included in the ProntoProEdit NG installer package.
