I too am running the same VM to use the RU990 on XP, the VM works just fine on windows 11 too........and I too dont want to let it die....there IS nothing else that comes close.....so why on earth did the idiots at philips drop it ?????

Because most consumers prefer to use an IPhone or IPad to do the simple stuff. It's only when you have complex systems that you need a powerful hand-held remote.

That being said, RTI has some good equipment that works quite well also with plenty of hard buttons. Check out their new 4 inch screen models.
