I changed some items on my backup file and tried to load it into the pronto 7000 and got the message "The CF version is not correct or the memory is corrupt."
I have done this many times with no problems.
I reset it and tried to install the default file and got the same result.
I have been using win7 and have not had any problems.
Is this pronto a brick now or is there some solution?

I solved the problem!
I was using a usb hub with a multihead adapter to connect to computer.
I tried a single usb cable and was able to restore my files and everything works fine.
