But these are low frequency codes.
What makes you think they are high frequency? I'm just going by what the technical support at Logitech told me. I am currently charging up the 880, once I try to learn it I will let you know if it works. If not, I am going to just take your hex codes and transfer them over.

You just replace the 0000 0073 0000 0011 000F 000A 0006 0016 at the beginning of each bad learn with 0000 0073 0000 0012 000F 000A 0006 000A 0006 0016 which is equivalent to changing the 0011 to 0012 and inserting 0006 000A. The 0006 000A always goes in that same position. Well that did the trick! I made those changes to all my bad codes and now I have full functionality from the pronto. Thanks a ton...I really appreciate your help with this! Now I'll probably be dumping the service anyway and go back to TWC...which will be Comcast for us next month...hahahaha!

Thanks for posting the codes, I got everything working correctly. Just curious, why are you switching from uVerse? I love it so far...

I dont like it for a few reasons.
1 - The HD quality is poor compared to TWC that I had previously. The blacks are so black there is no definition to the picture...and sometimes it looks green in the black areas.
2 - You can only watch and or record 1 HD channel at a time in the entire house. If I'm watching and HD channel and I have the DVR set to record and HD channel, I get an error on the screen that says the HD stream is in use once the DVR starts recording. I could record 2 HD channels w/ TWC.
3 - The response time from the cable box (channel changing, guide scrolling, etc.) is slow
Overall our previous service w/ TWC, although more expensive, was better in terms of quality. The internet portion of U-verse seems ok, but the TV is just disappointing. I love the channel line up for the price, but it's just not ready for prime time IMHO. I wish Verizon would bring FIOS to Houston.

I also had trouble learning these codes from a TSU7500. spent over 3 hours trying on the job in the house. As I last resort, I pulled out my trusty TSU1000 from my laptop case and learned them into it. Then I copy and pasted the codes into the TSU7500 and they worked.
I then saw the HD picture from AT&T and it looked terrible compared to the Cable picture I usually see.

I use an IR device that can be configured with Pronto codes. I tried chazmedia's codes. They all worked fine after I applied the corrections. But I still need codes for '3', '7' and 'ok'. I downloaded makehex, but I can't find the Nokia32.irp file. A Google search turned up only your post in this thread.
Do you know where I can get Nokia32.irp?
Chazmedia:
Can you post the codes for '3', '7' and 'ok?

Now that I look back in the thread, the 'ok' command was already posted. In any case, chazmedia sent me the codes for '3', '7' and 'ok.' So I'm posting them here in case anyone else is looking for them.

I'm having a similar problem teaching my MX500 the remote codes from my Uverse remote. The MX500 acts like it learns the code but when I use it to send the code, nothing happens on the device. Any ideas?

I have been struggling with this remote for a long time now, I'm trying to get it to work with lirc. When I try to use the included 'irrecord' utility I get different results every time. However the code below works for 'ok', I don't know why it was able to record it successfully that one time and not the other 100 times. Anyway, given this snippet of valid info, and the pronto codes above, would it be possible to construct a working lirc config file? I would be MASSIVELY appreciative, Thanks, Paul # Please make this file available to others # by sending it to < [email protected]> # # this config file was automatically generated # using lirc-0.8.2-CVS-pvr150(default) on Tue Oct 2 21:40:42 2007 # # contributed by # # brand: ser1.conf # model no. of remote control: # devices being controlled by this remote: # begin remote name ser1.conf flags RAW_CODES|CONST_LENGTH eps 30 aeps 100 ptrail 0 repeat 0 0 gap 96946 begin raw_codes name 1 450 150 300 200 200 600 200 200 250 700 250 350 250 200 250 200 250 200 250 200 200 550 200 400 250 550 200 250 250 200 200 250 150 450 200 name 2 500 150 300 150 250 550 250 200 200 750 200 400 200 250 200 200 250 200 250 550 200 600 200 400 150 600 200 250 200 250 200 250 200 550 200 name ok 500 200 200 250 200 550 250 200 150 800 250 350 250 200 250 200 150 300 200 250 200 550 200 400 200 600 200 400 200 400 200 750 200 250 200 end raw_codes end remote

Does anyone have the hex codes for "right", Ch up, and Ch down? those are used alot. Also any ideas on how to make channel macros work better? I used a 1 second delay between each number, but it only works when I'm pointing the remote at the box, not with RF. With RF it only types in the first number. I would really appreciate it. thanks.

Thought I'd pass along some details that I've recently learned about these codes...
It's a Philips RCMM code that uses 2 bit per burst pair encoding: 0006 000a = 00 0006 0010 = 01 0006 0016 = 10 0006 001c = 11
I figured that out from looking at the lirc version, as it seemed like there were not enough bursts to account for that many bits.
lirc says Dig1 = 0x23402601 or 0x23402A01
Dig1 0000 = learned code 0073 = freq 0000 = no one time burst 0012 = 18 repeatable bits 000f 000a = lead in 0006 000a 0006 0016 = 2 0006 000a 0006 001c = 3 0006 0010 0006 000a = 4 0006 000a 0006 000a = 0 0006 000a 0006 0016 = 2 0006 0010 0006 0016 = 6 msb is toggle bit, could be A 0006 000a 0006 000a = 0 0006 000a 0006 0010 = 1 0006 0c50 = lead out
Freq = 1000000/(N * 0.241246) 0x73 = 115 => 36.044 kHz
Hope this is useful to someone,
Pete

I don't think you'll get much response from the more recent posters in this thread. Notice that each only has a few total posts at RemoteCentral and none recently.
To get help from experts, you should post more info. This thread discusses both Pronto codes and Lirc codes. You didn't say which you want. You also should say what you've tried already and what has or hasn't worked. Do you have an IR learning device? What results did you get when you used it? (actual code strings if you have a PC connection to that learning device, not just "it didn't work").

Johnsfine, Sorry about the incomplete request.. It was a long night of testing.
The codes I'm looking for are pronto for the U-Verse remote. The learning device is actually a Ocelot by appdig. They have a neat little program that will convert pronto to Ocelot. I've determined that the remote is "probably" a 36K carrier device. But when I scope the signal (directly off of the led on the remote) the pattern is consistent but seems to vary slightly in carrier frequency and delay. I was hoping to get a good set of codes to test.
