I am using the marantz wizz-it program for the rc5400 remote. I have logo I would like to import. I have the logo in microsoft publisher but I can't seem to get into a bitmap format, and in turn import it to the gallery. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have never used Publisher, but the picture file will be saved somewhere on your PC. If not perhaps you can save the page the picture is on as and HTML page. Then open the HTML page in your internet browser and then click on the picture and save it as a bitmap on your PC. Then open Wizz-It and go to the gallery and import the picture.

There may be a faster easier way but that is what I'd try.

The bitmap size will be as it is at the moment and can only be changed in a picture editing program. If it is just a few BMPs you want to resize you can use MS Paint, included in Windows 98, ME & XP (not ideal but on your PC already and free)

Open Paint (usually under accessories on the start menu). Open your bitmap, then in the menu’s you’ll find “Stretch & Skew”. Stretch your BMP by anything less than 100% to make it smaller and then save it and try it in Wizz-It.

If you want to do more than a few, this method will be a pain in the neck so you may want to consider a better picture editing program. (do a search, as many people recommend them on here)

Hope that makes sense and good luck.

Stoobie has it right. If you are going to do more than a few Pronto graphics, you should become familiar with a graphics program such as Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop (in any of its various guises). Older editions of these programs will work for Pronto graphics purposes and are cheap. Paint Shop Pro 7 or Photoshop Elements 2 are selling for around $5. PSP 8 or PE 3 are around $20. Corel Draw and Xara are other programs favored by some Pronto programmers.
